Sleigh Ride

The sleigh bells rang joyfully with each step the horse took, as he led the cutter across the snowy field. The stars twinkled brightly as the Taylor family sang Christmas carols wonderfully off key, pausing long enough to revel in the merriment before beginning a new tune. Ensconced in their warm blankets they caught fleeting glimpses of animals pausing in curiosity under the brilliance of the moon. Soon the cutter pulled up in front of their house where, with rosy cheeks, they disembarked, feeling the warm love their family time together had given them. Such family moments were quite rare.
