heeding winters
knowing call

The tree is trimmed
The stockings hung
The presents wrapped

The relatives all are near

Lies well within our grasp
As we share.
Memories through the years
Through the laughter and the tears
As we grow
It’s what we know
The table’s set
The turkey’s done
Everyone is
Filled with fun
