A 100 Word Story
Richard picked up the box and looked at the ancient ornaments. He smiled as he closed his eyes. He could picture the tree perfectly. The warmth of the room came flooding back filling him with love.
“Each ornament has its place on the tree. Your job is to examine the ornament and then look at the tree. You will know where to place it,” the warm and caring voice spoke through the decades.
“Yes Grandma,” he murmured as he opened his eyes.
Picking up the first ornament, he turned and regarded the empty tree. “Now where should I place you?”
