LITTLE DREAMERS

A Bedtime Poem for Little Dreamers

You can dream while you’re sleeping,
With stars up above,
But dreams in the daytime,
Are the ones that I love!

You don’t need pyjamas,
 Or the darkness of night.
You can dream through your breakfast,
In the first morning light.

You can dream of tomorrow,
Or of days long ago,
Of things that you’ve done,
And places you’ll go.

You can dream in galoshes,
As raindrops are falling,
While you’re jumping in puddles,
Your dreams will be calling.

You can dream in the garden,
With the song of the birds,
To the tunes that you hear,
Add your own special words.

You can keep little notes,
Of the dreams that you’ve had ,
Create future memories,
With a pencil and pad.

So dream while you’re sleeping,
But have daytime dreams too,
And if you keep dreaming,
Your dreams will come true.

  1. Interesting that we were both thinking of dream oriented themes. Great minds....
